Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 pound broccoli 2 tablespoons pine nuts 4 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons minced chives 1/8 teaspoon white pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 4 ounces cheddar cheese -- slivered 1/4 pound medium mushrooms -- thinly sliced
Cut flowerets from broccoli and slice stalks crosswise. Steam for 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain and rinse with cold water. Brown pine nuts in skillet over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Mix oil, lemon juice, chives and seasonings. Pour over mixture of steamed broccoli, cheese and mushrooms; toss to coat. Sprinkle with pine nuts. Garnish with radishes.
