Lamb Koftas, (sandwich)
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. minced lamb 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 finely chopped onion 1 tbsp. curry powder 2 tsp. dried parsley 1 tbsp. dried corriander, or oregano 1 c. plain breadcrumbs 1 lightly beaten egg
Place in large bowl and mix well. Divide into 24. Shape 3 portions around each of 8 metal skewers (or do individually on 24 skewers). Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Barbeque on oiled flat grill plate about 8 minutes, moderate heat, turning often. Or barbeque in a covered kettle 10 to 15 minutes, turning once. Serve on flat pita bread.
