Barbequed Lamb
2 slices chopped bacon 2 tbsp. butter 1 choped onion 3 1/2 - 4 lbs. lamb, cut into 4 pieces 1/2 c. flour 1 6oz. can tomato paste 1 1/2 c. chicken bullion 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1 tsp. dry mustard
Wipe the lamb with a damp cloth. Heat the butter in a Dutch oven type pot. Add the bacon and onion and saute until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside. Roll the lamb in the flour and brown in the remaining fat in the pot. Return the bacon and onion to the pot. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from the stovetop and cover. Bake at 350 for 2 hours or until the lamb is tender. Makes 4 servings.
