My good friend here in Alamogordo gave me this recipe 4 years ago and everyone raves about them. Quite popular with most people!
Trudie's Jalapeno Poppers
Jalapenos, as hot or mild as you can find - your choice!
Cream cheese, softened at room temp.
Pecan pieces
California-style garlic powder
Cut jalapenos in half, lengthwise, and take out seeds and white veins. Mix remaining ingredients well. Spread mixture in jalapeno halves. Place on serving plate and munch away!
