Ingredients 2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers 1 onion, chopped 2 cups diced celery 1 green bell pepper, chopped 2 tablespoons white sugar Directions 1 Combine crushed and diced tomatoes with chilies, onion, celery, bell pepper, and sugar in a small mixing or serving bowl. Let chill at least 2 hours before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings

Salsa
This is a very easy salsa to make. You can play with it and add other ingredients to your liking. I have also canned this recipe using the boil canning method. Ingredients
1 16oz can tomatoes,chopped use liquid (or use fresh tomatoes)
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 4oz can green chilis,chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 or 2 Green onions,chopped
1 onion, chopped
6-8 chili tepins,broken,opened,and seeded (optional- I have never added this.My kids don't like it to be hot.)
1/4 teas. Oregano
1/4 teas. Cumin (or less)
1/2 teas. dry mustard
Directions Mix all ingredients and let set for 2 hours. This allows the flavors to blend. Serving Suggestions You can add whatever else you like to this recipe, corn, beans, etc.
