Cheesy Broccoli Loaf
1 - 12 oz. pkg. bulk sage-flavored pork sausage 1 small onion, finely minced 1 - 11 oz. can of Refrigerated Crusty French bread 2 cups frozen broccoli cuts - cooked, drained 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook sausage and onion in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Unroll dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Press to form 14x12-inch rectangle. Spoon sausage down center of dough. Top with broccoli and cheeses. Fold long sides of dough over filling, meeting in center; press edges and ends to seal. Bake at 350 degrees. for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into crosswise slices. About 4 servings.
NOTE: After cutting into slices, you can add some additional shredded cheese and slightly melt on each slice. I like a dollop of sour cream on mine with some finely minced green onions.
