CREAMY TAMALE CASSEROLE
12 frozen pre-made fat, top-quality beef or chicken or pork tamales (about 3-4 oz. each) 2 cans Swanson's Chicken a La King 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk 1 small can chopped green chilies, rinsed and drained 2 cups shredded Jack or cheddar cheese
Directions: Grease a 13 x 9 casserole and arrange frozen tamales. Combine other ingredients, except cheese, and pour over the top. Sprinkle with 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese or a mix of cheddar and Jack. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove foil and bake for additional 10 minute or until edges are bubbling. Makes 10-12 servings.
