Spaghetti Pie
8 ounces Spaghetti 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine 2 Eggs - beaten 1/2 cup Parmesan chesse - grated 1 cup Cottage cheese 1 pound Ground beef 1/2 cup Onions - chopped 1/4 cup Sweet red pepper 1 8 oz. can Tomatoes with liquid - cut up 1 6 oz. can Tomato paste 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Oregano 1/2 teaspoon Garlic salt * titch of cayenne pepper if you like it a bit hotter 1/2 cup Mozzarella - shredded
Directions: Cook spaghetti per pkg. directions; drain and place in bowl. Add butter, eggs, Parmesan and mix well. Spread over the bottom and up the sides of a greased 10" deep dish pie plate. Spoon cottage cheese in "crust", set aside. In a skillet, brown beef, onion and red pepper until beef is brown; drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Spoon over the cottage cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with mozzarella, return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Cut into wedges.
