BEEF AND MUSHROOM CASSEROLE W/ RED WINE
Total oven baking time: 4 hours at 225*F.
Place 2 pounds lean beef, cubed in 1-inch squares, in casserole. Add dash of salt and pepper. Pour 1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup and sprinkle 1 package of Onion Soup Mix over beef. Bake in 225* oven for 2 1/2 hours. Stir and bake for another hour. Blend in 3/4 pound sliced fresh mushrooms and 1/2 cup red wine. Bake a final 1/2 hour. Serve over rice or noodles. This dish can be made the day before needed for serving.
