Ham Potato Casserole 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 Tbsp oil 1 cups milk 4 or 5 potatoes, peeled and sliced 2 cups cubed ham 1 lb fresh string beans (or 1 package frozen or canned) *salt/pepper to taste (I like a little garlic salt too) 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese Directions: Lightly spray a 13X9 baking dish with Pam, and then layer in the sliced potatoes . Add the beans and ham. In a saute pan, cook the onion in the oil until it's tender, place in baking dish. Pour milk over all. Cover and place in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Check beans and potatoes for doneness. If not done, bake about 15 minutes more. Uncover and add the cheese, and bake about 5 minutes more until the cheese melts. NOTE: Not necessary, but I add in 1/4 cup of sour cream to the milk just because I like the flavor...
