This ice-cold limeade is a refreshing drink to serve at summertime festivities.
3 cups water 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup fresh lime juice, chilled 1 fresh lime slice for garnish
Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool about 20 minutes. Pour sugar syrup into a pitcher and chill. Add chilled lime juice to pitcher and stir well. Serve over ice and garnish with lime slices. Makes 1 quart.
