1 (10 oz/280 g) package frozen chopped broccoli (2 cups/480 ml) 8 oz (224 g) bulk pork sausage 3 cups (720 ml) plain croutons 2 cups (480 ml) shredded sharp Cheddar, Swiss or Emmental cheese 1 (10-3/4 oz/301 g) can condensed cream of broccoli OR cream of chicken soup 4 eggs 1 soup can milk
Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C). Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in medium skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and thoroughly cooked, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat.
In large bowl, combine cooked sausage, cooked broccoli, croutons and cheese. Arrange mixture evenly in greased 12x8-inch (30x20- cm) baking dish.
In same bowl, stir soup until smooth. Beat in eggs and milk. Pour over sausage mixture, covering all ingredients. Bake 30 minutes or until set in center. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cut into squares to serve.
