2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1/2 c. melted butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. buttermilk
Stir sugar and butter together, add flour, then eggs, then buttermilk. Save whites for meringue. Flavor with lemon. (This recipe came out of a newspaper in early 1900's.)
