For 4 Servings:
2 cups buttermilk baking mix 1/2 cup cold water 3 Tbs. unsalted butter, softened 1/4 cup scallions, (with tops), thinly sliced Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine baking mix and water in a bowl until a soft dough forms. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Turn onto a surface well floured with baking mix. Gently roll in baking mix to coat. Shape into a ball. Knead 10 times. Roll or pat into a 12 inch circle. Spread with butter and sprinkle with scallion. Cut into 12 wedges. Roll up, beginning at rounded edges. Place rolls, with points underneath, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Curve slightly. Bake 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
This recipe serves 12 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 12 only.
