Sausage Squares
1 cup Buttermilk Bisquick Mix 1/3 cup Milk 4 tbls Mayonnaise 1 lb Pork Sausage 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 egg 2 cups grated chedder cheese 1- 4 oz cans chopped green chilies
Directions: Take a medium size bowl and stir the Bisquick mix with milk, and then add 2 tbls mayonnaise. Take this and spread into a Crisco greased 13 x 9 pan. Saute the sausage and onion, and then carefully drain and blot the fat from this mixture. (I use some paper towels to really get off the grease) Take and spread this over the Bisquick mix. Beat the egg with the remaining mayonnaise, cheese, and chilies. Spread this over the meat. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. Cut into one inch squares.
Note: If you like more flavor you can use a larger size can of chilies. Personally, 4 oz. is enough for my taste!
