4 cups apple 1/4 cup orange juice 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup sifted flour 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg (i don't really use this) dash salt (nor this one) 1/2 cup butter
Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter pan. Sprinkle apples with orange juice after slicing and placing in pan. Combine flour, sugar, spices & salt. Cut in butter until mixture turns crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
