From Betty Crocker's Bisquick Cookbook 1971
Peanut Butter Cookies ;D
1 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. water
2 c. Bisquick
Heat oven to 400 degrees
Mix peanut butter, shortening, sugars and water; stir in Bisquick. Shape dough by scant teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. With fork dipped in flour, flatten in crisscross pattern. Bake 5 to 7 minutes. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
