A very good friend in San Francisco just sent me this idea to use leftover chili. Thanks, Bev! [glow=red,2,300]Tamale Pie[/glow] To about 2 cups+ leftover chili add: fresh, or small can of Ortega chopped green chili peppers, or your favorite 1/2 onion chopped 1/2 T minced garlic about 12 olives (black or green, your preference) sliced, or small can of sliced olives. Stir all above together, and pour into large baking dish. I sprayed mine with Pam. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. When 30 minutes is almost up, make cornbread biscuit dough from Cornbread Mix. Remove pan from oven, and plop biscuit dough on top of meat mixture (making about 6 biscuits) Put back in oven for about 20 minutes, or according to biscuit package direction. Take out of oven. With large spoon, scoop meat mixture with biscuit on top and serve one portion per person. This is called Tamale Pie
