1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 1 onion -- chopped 1 small green bell pepper -- chopped 2 garlic cloves -- minced 32 ounces red kidney beans, canned -- rinsed and drained 29 ounces diced tomatoes, canned 2 1/2- 3 tbsp chili powder (Your taste!) 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon cumin
Directions: Cook ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Place mixture in a 5 quart slow cooker; stir in beans, tomatoes, chili powder, salt, pepper, and cumin. Cook on HI for 3-4 hours or on LO for 5-6 hours.
