1 beef tongue (fresh or smoked) 1 bay leaf 2 Tablespoons of salt 1 1/2 cups of water 2 lemons, squeezed or 2 onions quartered 6 peppercorns
Place washed tongue in crockpot, Add all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low overnight or 7 to 9 hours.
