When you just don't have the time or inclination to go thru all the work entailed in preparing cabbage rolls, this will do just fine!!
Cabbage Roll Casserole
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 Tbs. oil 1 onion, minced 1/8 tsp. pepper Salt to taste 1/2 cup raw rice 1 can tomato soup 1 can water 3 cups shredded cabbage
Mix together meat, onion, seasonings, rice. Brown together. Add soup and water. Put cabbage in casserole. Pour soup and meat mixture over all. Do not stir. Cover and bake at 325*F 1 1/2 hours.
