Midlife is when the growth of the hair on our legs slows down. This gives us plenty of time to care for our newly acquired mustache. Midlife women no longer have upper arms; we have wingspans. We are no longer women in sleeveless shirts; we are flying squirrels in drag. Midlife has hit when you stand naked in front of the mirror and can see your rear end without turning around. Midlife is when you bounce (a lot), but you don't bounce back. It's more like splat! Midlife is when you want to grab every firm young lovely in a tube top and scream, "Listen, honey, even the Roman Empire fell, and those things will too!" Midlife is when you go to the doctor and you realize you are now so old, you have to pay someone to look at you naked. You know you are getting old when you go for a mammogram and realize it is the only time someone will ask you to appear topless in a film. Midlife brings the wisdom that life throws you curves and that you're now sitting on your biggest ones. Midlife can bring out your angry, bitter side. You look at your latte-swilling, beeper-wearing know-it-all teenager and think, "For this I have stretch marks?" Midlife is when your memory really starts to go: the only thing you still retain is water. The good news about midlife is the glass is still half-full. Of course, the bad news is that it won't be long before your teeth are soaking in it. Kinda depressing to look forward to all of this happening to us! Sadly, Baking Bud

OH NO CHRIS! Say it isn't so!!! Well, don't give up the ship yet! We can save you. Just start with one FULL HOUR of exercising every morning. Rest for 10 minutes and follow it with one FULL HOUR of jogging every day. Come home and rest for 10 minutes and jump on your bike or treadmill for another hour of fun filled, heart pumping exercise. WOW. Just telling you how to get in shape, just took the wind out of me. Think I need to go and take that 20 minute break you are alloted! YEP. Staying in shape isn't as easy as when we were young. There should be a machine we could just get 'in' and 'it' would exercise everything for us! I'd buy one of those! Take care and at least 'think' some exercising thoughts today. Tomorrow we can start! Always My Best, Baking Bud

Hi April!, Funny now, but one day we'll be borrowing our husband's mustache groomers to keep looking good! He'll probably complain that I dull that blade up too! Think I am going to make myself READ THIS every day, so that I will have motivation to exercise. There, I just stood UP, so that is one leg crunch! Only 24 more to go! See, we CAN stay in shape while on the computer! Make that two leg crunches! I think we could work out a whole exercise program while on here! OK Ladies, stand up > tighten the gluteus, tighten the stomach muscles > now sit back down while holding everything in! Hey, that makes 3, so only 22 more to go! I think I have FOUND a new excuse for being on the computer! There are methods to my madness! ;D My Best, Baking Bud who only has 21 more to go now!!! PS > One exercise that I DO make myself do on a regular basis while on the computer is hand stretching exercises. Ending up in a splint from PAIN is not my idea of fun!

Hey Girls! Got this whipped! hehehe I get my face waxed at least once every month now. Used to be every other week! ;D No whiskers, no "nuttin"! It only costs about $8.00 for the face, mustache and eyebrows. Not bad, huh? I decided I wasn't going to "get" old so decided to get waxed instead! Beats shaving a bunch.
