Are you sick of plain jane rhubarb jam. ? My girlfriend has been making flavoured jams for years with KOOL AID and it is very hard to tell the differance. All you do is follow the directions for regular rhubarb jam and add in 1 package no sugar added kool aid for a hint of flavour, for a more intence truer flavour add in 2 packages kool aid. You do this at the very begining of the cooking process. For example to make Raspberry Jam she adds in one package of Raspberry Kool Aid. I was amased at the flavour of the jam, tasted just like real raspberry jam. Give this a try for the bumper crop of rhubarb.

Tonight I had to try this for myself and I made Rhubarb Cherry Jam. I had my neighbour give it a blind taste test. She actually thought she was eatting a real cherry jam on that piece of bread I gave her to try with her eyes closed. She was so shocked to learn it was a rhubarb jam with kool aid. This is a thumbs up recipe in my books. I used 2 packages for the true or more real flavour. Lynn
