Hi there, I was looking for the recipe for Jello pound cake and alas I found it on this site...Hooray! I have a Christmas party to attend and my girlfriend signed me up to bring Jello cake. This recipe is so easy and unusual to most people. I made one change to the recipe that others might enjoy and I thought I would share it. Instead of Whipped topping for a frosting, try using vanilla pudding.....It turned out great and the texture is a nice compliment to the chilled desert.
Thanks, hope you enjoy, BellaPolpetta

Hi BellaPolpetta!,
One of my son's favorite cakes is to make a white or yellow cake, poke holes in it, and add banana cream pudding. I always make up two portions of the COOK type of pudding, so that I can use the rest to put on a good layer of it as the frosting. If you let it sit after you quickly pour some into the holes that you make, then it sets up more like the pie method. Once chilled, it cuts neatly and nicely into each serving. I always use a 9X13 inch pan to make his special cake!
Hummm... Sounds so good I think I will make one today!
