I recently purchased a rotisserie and the first meal I attempted was a whole chicken. Well to cut a long story short - I spent forever trying to shove the chicken into place (no big deal - I should I tied it with string). Anyway, I put the chicken in the rotisserie and then stepped outside briefly. When I returned the house was full of smoke and my new gadget was making a strange noise! WELL - turns out one of the chicken wings had flopped down and got caught under the heating element in the back. Needless to say it prevented the turning motion of the rotisserie and the wing was cooked to a cinder. Just wanted to warn everyone to make sure that "whatever" you are cooking is securely in place. Oh! by the way - the chicken was delicious!!!!
