1 1/2 lb ground chuck 1 large thinly sliced onion 1 large green pepper sliced 4-5 medium potatoes, sliced thinly (a couple more won't hurt if needed) 1/2 tsp. each dried oregano and basil 1 48 oz can tomato juice
brown and drain the gr. chuck
In Crockpot, layer the potatoes, onions, green peppers, and ground chuck. sprinkle the herbs over top. Pour on tomato juice. Cover and cook on low all day, till potatoes are tender. Serves 4
This is one of those dishes that taste great the second day! Serve with salad and crunchy bread
