Fay Wilkinson's from Canton Il. Lemon Lush Crust: 1 stick oleo (butter or margarine) 1 cup flour 1 cup of nuts, crushed (pecan or walnuts work well)
Pack in a 9x12 baking pan. Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.
Cheese layer:
1 8 ounce package cream cheese 1 cup powdered sugar (confectioners sugar or Icing sugar) 1 8 ounce container of frozen whipped topping, thawed Mix all of the ingredients for the cheese layer together. Spoon on top of crust.
Lemon Filling:
2 packages ( 4 servings each)of lemon pudding cooked according to package directions
Note: You may use instant lemon pudding in place of cooked pudding (works great too). If using instant pudding, mix with beaters on low speed for 2 minutes.
Spread pudding of your choice on top of cheese mixture.
For the top: 2 8 ounce containers of frozen whipped topping, thawed Spread on top of lemon pudding.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
