2 green onions 1/2 c parsley leaves 1 t dried dillweed 1 c buttermilk 1/2 c low-fat cottage cheese 1/2 c low-fat plain yogurt 1 t dried oregano 1/4 t salt 1/4 t ground black pepper
Finely chop onions, parsley and fresh dill; set aside. In food processor or blender container, process buttermilk, cheese, yogurt, and seasonings until smooth. Remove and stir in onion and herb mixture. Pour into covered container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week. Makes 2 cups.
Nutritional information: 9 calories, trace fat, 1 g protein, 1 g carbohydrates, 49 mg sodium, trace fiber. (For 1 T sized serving.)
