Georgia Peanut Butter Sauce
1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon white corn syrup 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup milk 6 tablespoons peanut butter 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix sugar, Karo (corn syrup), salt and milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Add peanut butter and mix well. Remove from heat, let cool, add vanilla. Serve on vanilla ice cream.
Peanut Butter Sauce
1 cup sugar 3/4 cup water 2/3 cup light corn syrup 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup peanut butter
Combine sugar, water, corn syrup and salt in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Stir until well blended. Add 1 tablespoon water if necessary. Serve over ice cream.
