Cherry Dumplings The cherry pie lovers will go for this recipe. This is an easy recipe to expand.
Pie Crust dough, either purchased or make your own 2 cans sour pie cherries, drained, reserving juice Sugar Butter
Roll out pie dough very thin and cut into triangles. Place two tablespoons cherries in center of triangle, top with three tablespoon sugar. Fold over and place dumpling in baking dish. Continue making dumplings and placing in dish. Pour reserved cherry juice around dumplings until it goes about half way up side of dish. Place a piece butter on top of each dumpling and sprinkle more sugar on dumplings. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
