These two dessert ideas are great for summer evenings and finish off a family barbecue perfectly.
Theses parcels must be made just a few minutes before baking. They are quick and easy to put together and smell delicious!
Ingredients:
4 bananas
2 passion fruit
4 tbsp orange juice
4 tbsp orange-flavoured liqueur
Peel the bananas and place each on a sheet of kitchen foil.
Cut the passion fruit in half and squeeze the juice of each half over each banana. Spoon over the orange juice and liqueur.
Fold the kitchen foil over the top of the bananas to enclose the bananas completely.
Barbecue the bananas over hot coals for about 10 minutes or until tender.
Transfer the parcels to a warm serving dishes. Open out the parcels at the table and serve immediately.
Baked chocolate bananas
Ingredients as above plus:
1-2 cubes of chocolate for each banana.
Leave the bananas in their skins for a really quick dessert.
Split the skins and pop in 2 cubes (or one depending on your taste) of chocolate.
Wrap the bananas in kitchen foil and grill for 10 minutes or until the chocolate melts.
