Pear Butter
pears sugar cinnamon
Wash pears, but do not peel. Slice and add small amount of water to start cooking. Cook until real soft. Press through a colander. Add 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to each 3 cups of pulp. (Approximately 3 pears for 3 c. pulp.) Cook until thick, stirring frequently. Pour into clean, hot jars and hot water bath for 10 minutes.

Quick Pear Butter
14 c. cooked pears 10 c. sugar 2 boxes orange-pineapple gelatin 1 box Sure-Jell
Cook all ingredients together for approximately 30 minutes. Cook longer for thicker pear butter. Put in sterilized jars and seal.
