8 lasagne noodles, broken into bite size pieces 2 tsp cooking oil 2 tsp salt 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 3/4 cup finely chopped onion 2 14oz cans of tomatoes, with juice, broken up 5 1/2 oz can tomato paste 1 cup creamed cottage cheese 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese 2 tsp sugar 1 tsp parsley flakes 1/2 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp basil 1 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper Cook lasange noddles in boiling water, cooking oil, and salt until tender but firm. Drain. Brown ground beef. Drain well. Put the ground beef in 3.5L slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stir well. Add lasagne noodles. Stir. Cover. Cook on low for 7-9 hours or on high for 3 1/2-4 1/2 hours.
