Let's all pray for Nancy. Her home was broken into yesterday and her computers were stolen. She is ok and so are her little "assistants." We will not have a newsletter till she can replace her computers.
Nancy has given us so much, and right now she needs us to be there for her with our prayers and support.

Nancy: I am so very sorry to hear about the breakin of your home and the theft of your computers. It is a very un nerving feeling to think that someone has violated your personal space and had the nerve to take what they felt like. I know that feeling well. I am praying for you to have a speedy recovery of the fear that results from such a violation. Also for the safe return or replacement of all your things and that those responsible are charged and found guilty and have a hefty price to pay for there actions and time to cool there heals in jail at the same time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. WhisperingPass aka LYNN

Hi Nancy,
I am so terribly sorry this has happened to you!! You are in my thoughts and prayers as well as those of countless others whose lives you have touched through your caring and sharing by means of a newsletter that brings so many people together.
I wish you well, but feel I must choose my words carefully when I wish you a speedy recovery. I have no doubt that your predominate thought will be "I must get back online and..."
Thank you for all you have done for us, now please, take as good care of yourself! We will be waiting to hear from you, Ditto and Siggy. Thanks to azlinda at Recipe Goldmine and Chris in NM for keeping us in touch with you until we do.
Hugs,
-Shortcake

Update: In a newsletter Nancy sent out following the interrupted robbery, she has suggested how we can best help her at this time. Here is an excerpt: "I need your assistance. Please hold off on sending any emails until I get everything resolved with the computer, setting programs up and getting my email set up. I really do appreciate all the messages that members send when I am not feeling well but my email box will not hold them and I just don't feel well enough to read any email. I would appreciate members checking out other pages on my sites until the newsletter is once again sent out. Without your continued visits and the revenue generated from the sites there would be no newsletter or sites." www.nancyskitchen.comwww.nancys-kitchen.comwww.aliciasrecipes.comwww.abbys-kitchen.comwww.recipe-greeting-cards.comNancy

Nancy, (((((hugs))))) I just went through sort of what you did. Somebroke into our self storage unit and stole $15000.00 worth of our belongings. They will never catch them as the police just aren' t interested. But I lost my most precious gift. My Mom and Dad's wedding goblets that were worth more than any price set on them. My Dad was killed in WW2 when I was 2 months old and I lost my Mom in 1997, so priceless!!!
I hope your stress level is going down and you are able to cope. We have been living in a hotel since las Feb. and have finally came to a place we like and are looking for a house. It is just my daughter (38) and myself. I am disabled so the computer is very important to me. I am new on here and probably have typed too much. But just wanted to let Nancy know we care.
