Crunchy Apple Dog Cakes
2 3/4 c. water 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce 1/4 tsp. vanilla 4 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. fresh minced or crushed dried apple chips 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 light beaten egg 4 tbsp. honey
Preheat oven to 350. Coat mini muffin pans with non stick cooking spray. Mix all the wet ingredients together thoroughly. Set aside. Combine all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, scraping the sides of the bowl well to make sure no dry mixture is left. Pour batter into the muffin tins. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes, or until a tester comes out dry. Store in a sealed container.
