1-1/2 cup whole-wheat flour 1/2 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup raisins 1 Tbs. brown sugar 1 cup milk 1 cup chunky peanut butter
Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth with a hand mixer that is set on low speed.
Knead the dough on a floured surface and roll out to 1/3-inch thick. Cut out cookies using a bone-shaped cookie cutter (available at home or pet stores). Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Refrigerate or freeze the biscuits if you're going to keep them longer than three days.
