1 box of elbow macaroni, cooked (al dente) and drained (lately I have been on a kick of using those wagon wheel ones > FUN!) 1 pound Velveta processed cheese (cubed) ANY leftover cheese you have, cheddar, Swiss, mozarella, etc. 6 strips crisp fried bacon crumbled, OR REAL bacon bits 1/2 to 1 cup Heavy Cream ( depending on how thick you like it) *about a tablespoon butter or margarine- more or less to your taste
Directions: Cook and drain macaroni. Add butter or margarine. On low heat melt Velveta, shredded cheese of your choice, and stir in the bacon. Pour over macaroni and add heavy cream. Stir gently until blended well and desired thickness is achieved.
NOTE: You can also add ham, chicken, or ground beef and veggies, onions etc. and make it into a full dinner meal.
