9 inch pie shell, partially baked 5 med. onions, thin sliced (Walla Walla "sweets" preferably) 3 tbsp. butter or margarine 4eggs 1/2 c. sour cream Salt and pepper to taste 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded 1. In large skillet, cook onions in margarine over very low heat until transparent, but not browned. Add a little water when necessary to prevent browning. 2. In medium bowl, beat eggs. Add sour cream and seasonings. 3. Sprinkle bacon in pie shell. Top with cooked onions. 4. Pour egg mixture over all and top with shredded cheese. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
