I've never cooked with dry navy beans before.....can someone tell me if its ok to let them soak over night? Thank you!

Hello and welcome kristabell!
Yes it is very much ok to soak navy beans over night. That is usually the suggestion to help them cook better! You may use some salt in the soaking water, also. In the morning, when you begin putting the dish together, drain the beans (toss the old water) and add fresh water. The package of beans may even say all this. Check it out! Good luck!

I make baked beans with navy beans and always soak them overnight and then in the morning I boil them for an hour before putting beans in a slow cooker to make baked beans. They alway turn out really well
