I'm also looking for a recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I'm very picky with these cookies, so I'm having a hard time. I want them to come out soft and stay soft. I like them rised, not flat and full of chocolate. I didn't like the toll house recipe at all. Love the Mrs.fields recipe but they don't make enough. It's such a small amount of dough.
Please help!

Hi engaged! Welcome to Nancy's Kitchen! I have found if you only bake the chocolate chip cookies - any recipe - for 10 minutes only they will stay soft. Also in my Betty Crocker Cookie Book - circa 1960's - it suggests adding 1/4 c. more flour per recipe for a softer cookie. You can put in any amount of chocolate chips you want, you don't have to follow the amount given in the recipe. Hope this info helps!!!

I will have to try that idea with adding more flour to my recipe. I'm making the cookies today, I'll see how they turn out. Thanks so much...wish me luck

Hi engaged, You are very welcome. I have posted our family favorite meatloaf recipe in the Beef/Ground Beef Recipe section of the board. Look for Aunt Dee's Meatloaf. Hopefully it is a recipe your fiance' will enjoy. Take care, -Shortcake
