I came across a bread machine recipe for 7 Grain Bread. One of the ingredients is 5 grain cereal. Any idea as to what type of cereal this would be? Any other recipes for multi-grain bread?

What you are looking for is a plastic bag in the cereal isle usually found in the hot cereal section. You can find 5,7,9 and 12 grain cereal. It is like a Sunny Boy or Red River cereal just add water and cook type thing. If you cannot find it use either Red River or Sunny Boy. You can also check out the bulk food section in the larger grocery stores. I live in the rural sticks and can get all those cereals in the small corner store here. Hope this helps you a bit. If not make your own using quick oatmeal, flax seeds, raw sunflower and pumpkin seeds and wheat and oat germ mix up to your taste and use that.

Thanks, Whispering Pass. I will look for Red River or Sunny Boy this weekend. Pro2796
