4 med yellow onions, skin removed 4 T balsamic vinegar 1/2 c broth or water 2 t dried oregano 1/4 t salt ground pepper
Place onions upright in baking dish sprayed with oil. Mix vinegar, broth or water and seasonings; pour over onions. Bake, covered, in 425-degree oven until onions are tender, about 45 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
Nutritional information: 72 calories, 1 g fat, 2 g protein, 16 g carbohydrates, 150 mg sodium, 3 g fiber.
