ASPARAGUS MOLD
2 cans asparagus 1 c. hot liquid 1 tbsp. gelatin dissolved in 1/4 c. cold water 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. slivered almonds
Heat liquid from canned asparagus and pour over dissolved gelatin. When partially set, fold in mayonnaise, whipped cream, salt, lemon juice. Add asparagus and almonds. Pour into mold and congeal. Serve with mayonnaise whipped with a little lemon juice.
