For Virginia...asking for the exact amount of butter for the potato stuffing recipe I sent. There is not a set amount of butter to add. If you have made scratch mashed potatoes, just add the amount you would use for that amount of potatoes. My family likes a light taste of the butter in theirs. But I would say try AT Least 1 cup., (2 sticks) on your first batch. If you think you need more, you can always add it to the next batch. You are most welcome. Sorry did not get this sooner, have been very busy lately.
