This is an Irish dish and is great on it's own, so good you can even the plate after, but make sure the kids aren't watching Boil 1kg potatoes, drain and mash. While potatoes are cooking, boil/steam 450g green cabbage, and saute 1 small diced onion in in a little butter until tender. Drain and chop cabbage and add to mash, add onion. Season well and add a knob of butter. Serve with sausages.
