2 cups half and half 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/2 teaspoon salt 24 ounces frozen shredded hash brown potatoes -- thawed 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup chopped onion
Heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease 9 x 13" baking dish. In small saucepan, heat half and half, onion, butter and salt until hot. DO NOT BOIL. Arrange potatoes evenly in greased pan; pour hot mixture over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until light golden brown.
