Prep: 5 min, Cook: 15 min.
For 4 Servings:
2 cups water 1 cup basmati rice 1/8 tsp. saffron Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Stir in rice and saffron and immediately reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes, covered. Fluff with a fork before serving.
