Crispy Tomato Layer Bake
4 slices Brown Bread 4 TBS butter 2 heaping TBS parsley 1 clove garlic, minced 2 lb fresh tomatoes, sliced 1 cup grated cheddar 1 tsp dry mustard salt and pepper to taste
Crumb bread in food processor. Heat butter, add crumbs, parsley, garlic. Fry gently for about 10 minutes until browned. Layer crumbs, tomatoes and cheese in a buttered dish. Sprinkle between the layers with salt and pepper. Repeat. Bake uncovered 30 to 40 minutes at 350*F.
