I am new here and I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with.
Can you freeze zucinni/ If so, how?

Freezing: Shred unpeeled zucchini, drain in a colander and then pat dry with paper towel, apply pressure. Remove as much moisture as possible to prevent zucchini from getting soggy when frozen. Place 1 or 2 cups of zucchini in freezer bags and seal tightly. Should last for 3-4 months. Hope this help's Jay

I wonder, also, if one could freeze it sliced? There is a particual recipe somewhere on this board that I would like to use, but it calls for slices of it, not shredded. Shannon

Hi. Yes you can slice it too.Some people blanch it but that just put's more liquid in them. They have enough liquid on their own.LOL. Shredded is good for bread too. Jay
