Orange Glazed Sweet Potatoes
One 3-ounce package orange Jello 1/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed Dash of salt 1 cup of boiling water 1 tablespoon butter One 16-ounce can sweet potatoes, sliced or quartered or use 6-8 cooked sweet potatoes
Dissolve Jello, sugar and salt boiling water in skillet. Add butter and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add sweet potatoes. Cook over medium. heat about 15 minutes basting frequently. When syrup thickens and is glossy, remove from heat. Serve hot.
Serves 3-4.
